The SINE PAD

The heart of Sine is its “Sine Pad”. The spring-loaded surface can be pushed down, altering the pickup-to-string distance. This dynamic movement creates a natural volume shift, enabling a mechanical, expressive swell or tremolo effect. A third dimension of movement added to Verso’s freely movable pickup system.

Pressing the Sine Pad is a deeply satisfying and natural gesture, offering a whole new perspective on the instrument. With a solid ash body, a set neck, and a fixed bridge, it radiates warmth and familiarity. The Sine Pad, made from powder-coated steel, gives it the distinctive Verso character: visionary and creative, simplistic yet avant-garde. 

LEHLE EXPRESSION  [OPTIONAL]

For all you pedal nerds, synth geeks, and producers out there, there’s an optional add-on just for you! Developed in cooperation with LEHLE, this compact module uses a wear-free magnetic hall sensor to measure the distance to the Sine Pad. This generates a control signal that can be used in four ways:

  1. EXPRESSION: two expression outputs allow you to control two pedals (or synths) with expression capabilities.

  2. USB MIDI: Control any parameter in your DAW by connecting via a USB-B

  3. CONTROL VOLTAGE (CV): Control your analog synths that accept CV.

  4. SWITCH: It can switch your amp or pedal using a internal relay.

LEHLE is a German brand known for state-of-the-art pedals and switchers, focusing on clear, transparent signal paths. Their products are praised for their reliability, precision, and durability, making them favorites among professional musicians worldwide. The design, development, and production of the PCBs and housings are all done in Germany, including the LEHLE EXPRESSION used in Sine.

PASSIVE SOUND / ACTIVE EXPRESSION

Sines wiring is 100% passive and soundwise completely independent from the
LEHLE EXPRESSION electronics. Just like your old Stratocaster, Sine does not need power to produce sound.

CAREFULLY CRAFTED

Sine is meticulously built with attention to every detail. I personally hand-select each piece of wood, ensuring the instrument is crafted to last a lifetime. Only native German woods are used, carefully stored and dried for years, sometimes decades.

The neck is finished with a durable, thin resin coat, rubbed in and followed by layers of natural oils for a smooth, organic feel.

The solid ash body is coated with traditional linseed oil paint from Linolie DK, a manufacturer creating exceptional quality hand made products. Its natural and comparable soft surface will develop a beautiful patina over time, making it truly yours.
