Visitors to the website

When someone visits the website: https://versoinstruments.com I use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.  I do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site.  This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.  I do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting the website.  If I do want to collect personally identifiable information through the website, I will be upfront about this.  I will make it clear when I collect personal information and will explain what I intend to do with it.

Use of cookies by Verso Musical Instruments

I may collect information about your computer, including where available, your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to aid the Analytics.  This is statistical data about my users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual.  I may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer.  Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive.  They help me to improve the Site and to deliver a better and more personalised service.  You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies.  However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Site.

E-newsletter

I use a third-party provider to deliver e-newsletters. I gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help me monitor and improve the e-newsletter. 

Security and performance

Verso Musical Instruments uses a third-party service to help maintain the security and performance of the Verso Musical Instruments website.  To deliver this service it processes the IP addresses of visitors to the Verso Musical Instruments website.

I use a third-party service to publish the website.  I use a standard service to collect anonymous information about users’ activity on the site, for example, the number of users viewing pages on the site, to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the site and help us to improve it.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos from Verso Musical Instruments YouTube Channel, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

People who use the ‚Order Form‚ service, email me directly or leave a review

When you use the “Order Form” service I will receive an email which contains your name, email address, and any additional details you may include. This information will not be shared with any other organisations.

I monitor any emails sent to me, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software.  Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.  I keep contact form submissions for a certain period for customer service purposes or until the subject of the contact form has been suitably resolved, I do not use the information submitted through this service for marketing purposes.

Customers

I offer an online retail service dealing with tangible and intangible products and services. As such, customers may choose to create accounts with me to store billing and shipping information, to keep track of current and past orders and to ensure your transactions with Crimson Guitars run smoothly.

Verso Musical Instruments does not store Credit card, Debit card or Bank account information.  All financial transactions are carried out through PayPal, a third-party payment service.

To open a PayPal account or use the PayPal Services, you must provide your name, address, phone number, and email address.  In order to make payments through the PayPal Services, you must provide credit card, debit card or bank account information.  Whatever financial information you share with the PayPal services is completely private and will not be made available to Crimson Guitars.  For more information about PayPal’s policy go here.

Customers once logged in, will have full access to, and be able to update, the information that Verso Musical Instruments keeps, including:

+ Billing and Shipping addresses
+ Email address
+ Telephone number (optional)
+ Past orders
+ Memberships / Subscriptions
+ VAT number

With respect to security; I have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that I have collected from you at our website. 

Your rights

Upon your request, I will (a) correct or update your personal information; (b) stop sending emails to your email address; and/or (c) disable your account to prevent any future purchases through that account.  You can make these requests simply by emailing robin@versoinstruments.com.

Upon request, I may provide website visitors with access to all information that I maintain about them, unique customer information, order details, dates of past or current transactions, and communications that the consumer/visitor has directed to the website, such as direct emails and enquiries.
