NECK

One piece, full length neck (neck through) with glued fretboard of the same piece of wood. 22 Frets. Large 62cm two way trussrod for convex & concave adjustments.

HEADSTOCK

8° angle. 1.5mm veneered with the same piece of wood as the fretboard.

HARDWARE

Schaller M6 1:18 gear. Chrome or nickel also available with locking mechanism (recommended)

NUT

Bleached bone nut. 42mm wide. Fitted to your string diameter. Vegan option in tusq.

FRETS & FRETENDS

Sintoms jumbo frets 2,5 x 1,2mm. 18% nickel silver (hard).
Soft rounded or semi hemispherical rounded fretends.

DOTS

BRIDGE

Wooden bridge block with 2mm thick brass string riders and pickup cable clips. The brass riders are in direct contact with the neck and the strings. Intonation adjusts by moving the bridge. String height adjusts by filing down the string riders.

ELECTRONICS

Goldplated connectors (SMB and audio jack). Silvercoated & shielded cables in teflon sheating. Fixed 1nF capacitor. Wired in mono or stereo.

The sheetmetal body acts as a very efficent shielding, that reduces humming very effective. Touching the body has the same grounding effect as touching the strings.

SMB CONNECTORS

The body contains two SMB inputs for up to two pickups. The gold-plated SMB plug is much more rigid than a normal audio jack, with absolutely no noise when plugging in and out. It is a stable connection that will not accidentally come loose.

NECK-BODY CONNECTION

The neck-body connection is made by a single M5 screw. The knurled screw is made of matted stainless steel or burnished (black) steel.

SHEET METAL BODY

1 mm sheet metal (steel). Ergonomically shaped with a very comfortable, rounded armrest and a bent support for the legs. It acts like a big spring, so it moves naturally with your arm weight and body movements, which feels very natural and comfortable.

POWDER COATING

Industrial grade powder coating. It is more resistant to impacts than a normal laquer and due to its thickness it dampens the resonance of the sheet metal. The surface is soft and will gradually bear traces of moving the pickups. The coating feels warm to the touch and rounds the edges in a very pleasant way.
